Nordic hotel company Scandic Hotels is bringing its best practice and know-how on sustainability to collaborate with 13 other leading hotel groups as a member of ITP, the International Tourism Partnership (ITP).
Founded in 1963, Scandic is the largest Nordic hotel operator with a portfolio of around 280 hotels, 55,000 rooms and over 17.000 employees in six countries. Scandic is a signatory of Agenda 2030 and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The company’s properties are certified according to the Nordic Ecolabel’s requirements, and work across a range of sustainability initiatives to tackle single-use plastics, food waste and to drive water stewardship as well as diversity and inclusion.
