Whitbread and Responsible Business


Whitbread’s Corporate Responsibility programme, Good Together, dictates the way they work as a team, with customers and suppliers to be a force for good. The company aim to make lives better for employees and communities through training and community programmes, care for customers by providing trusted and informed choices and reducing their impact on the environment. In their latest CSR report, Whitbread clearly recognise the challenge of balancing expansion with sustainability commitments. In the last five years the group have reduced carbon emissions by 32.8% and reduced water consumption by 28.2%.

Whitbread were involved in the creation of the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative and have been active in working groups on supply chains, human trafficking and water.
